Observations/Intel: Woke up in the middle of the night to both a roaring headache and bad allergies. Got both tamped down enough to go since Legs were fine and I really wanted to hit both 200 and finish the DVD I was watching. Both accomplished. Very, very casual, since any kind of pressing threatened to break my head entirely. Air was not tested.

Mileage now at 202 for 2022. Weather has also turned a bit nasty, so I may be a bit later to get to the bike than expected. I also need to familiarize myself with the feel of it, shifting and so forth, which I will do prior to any lengthy rides.

Observations/Intel: Son was over both weekend days and it was nice, so lots of activity, more than anticipated. Legs a bit sore but good enough to go. Bad allergy (I hope - weird to say) day, so Air was not great and I wasn't so into it, but bike is in the shop and I need to do my level best to keep going so I can actually use it once I get it back (projected next week, but maybe sooner). 

Mileage for the year is now 196, so as long as I have the actual workout Thursday, I should hit 200, which will then put me only a full month behind the soft goal, but travel, etc., so I'm not too pressed about it.

Observations/Intel: Legs were on track for sprints, weather getting nicer and I'm taking the bike in Monday for a tune as there is no fucking way I'm letting any more nice days go by without a ride, if I can help it. Need to still drop some weight but if the Air Dyne sessions are going to be less and less in the near future (probably by the end of this month), then now is the best time for the sprints, think I. So, pretty amped for it, get on, do a couple of mini-sprints and all is well. Then I go for the biggie, 1/4 mile max out. It takes a lot of rhythm and I'm finding it, digging in a bit towards the .20 mark, then I hit .23 and I think I'm there, but calamity. Somehow, my headphone cable catches one of the handlebars, which rips the headphones out of my ears and flings the CD player across the floor. Naturally, I lost the cadence and concentration at that point, so, again, did not make it. Legs were too shot for anything approaching success after that, though I did try. So, it continues to elude me, though I was definitely there this time, were it not for that mishap.

Weigh-in was 235. Clawing my way back there, with this stupidly resistant body. I seriously don't know what the fuck to think about whatever that surge was. I definitely did not increase caloric load. Pretty serious stall, looking like. Mileage for the year is 189. I will definitely hit 200 before I get the actual bike back, assuming I am able to hit continue this streak.

Observations/Intel: Legs fine today. Had a slight headache that delayed things and every time I tried to push a bit, I wound up getting a stitch in my side, so more casual today than intended.

Observations/Intel: Saturday did a bit of a number on the Legs, but they were good enough to go today. I would have run this a bit longer, if not for a commit I needed to cut it short so I could prepare for. I think I may try to do some sprints this weekend, depending on how Thursday goes. I'm also kicking around the idea of doing more runs during the week of a lower duration...maybe 30 minutes instead of extending it...I still haven't quite gotten my head back into things yet...diet is a lot more cleaned up, though, which is helping...

This (or tomorrow) is the 1 year anniversary and I forgot to check my weight, so in that year, it's either slightly over or under 30 lbs down. Mileage for this year is 173, so total mileage over that time is 24 short of 1000.

Observations/Intel: Got another load of donation stuff staged, which was a lot of up and down stairs, as well as getting the bike rack fixed to my current car. Bike is going to in to get serviced at some near future point, though I don't anticipate riding it until towards the end of the month...maybe. Need to get a line on how long to get it done, which will influence that somewhat. Legs were a bit sore today, but I really wanted to go. Wound up being hugely delayed by whatever is going on with my body that the trip has thrown a wrench into. I had thought it had cleared, by nope, definitely not quite yet. Air wasn't really tested and was fine.

Next week will be the one year anniversary since I resumed, so a really great time to be holding water and such. Fucking frustrating and I might do another mini-trip in the coming months, this time easterly, depending on how the next wave of COVID goes. Mileage for the year is now at 164.

Observations/Intel: Finally starting to feel more myself...starting to circulate some time frames as to when I would be available to start work, need to look at the forecast, but will be bringing in the actual bike to get it tuned in the very near future. Gym is still going to be out for the foreseeable future, as I don't see COVID relenting enough for that to be a worthwhile prospect. Need to be away from people to the extent possible still. Also, had a nerve pinging me a bit yesterday, but not enough to stop me. Air was a bit sloppy, Legs a touch sore, but not too bad. Really need to buckle things down and get back into the groove. I have some yard clean-up after the last storm and a pretty significant donation haul to do over the next few days. 

Weigh-in was 237 again, but caloric load is not high enough to be adding fat, so it seems more like metabolic stall and water retention, the latter of which I'm entirely sure about. I have not been getting enough hydration. Mileage for the year is 157.

Observations/Intel: Struggling against (and losing to somewhat) depression, which is creating a lot of havoc for this, such as general malaise and disinterest in getting back into the saddle, along with a rather gnarly metabolic stall. There has also been a lot of snowfall, but I've tried to keep active (Legs were a bit sore for this, somehow) in the interim. I really need to get back on the actual bike, I think, and not having a concrete end date to when I can move from this to that, or to the gym, is decidedly not great. Today was casual, more trying to get back into the flow of things. 

Last weigh-in was 237, I think...been a while and I need to do another. Mileage for 2022 now at 148.
